Incorporating the feeling of a tropical paradise in a home located just outside of Grand Rapids was the challenge met by Spaces Unlimited, Inc., and Lacati Custom Homes. They used inspirations derived from furniture and homewares by Tommy Bahama Home, which they recently started selling in their showroom. This resulted in a little piece of paradise that looks like it genuinely belongs in its Montreaux Hills environment. The home has a relaxed feel like being on an island, but not overdone, so it blends well with Michigan. It’s a large house, but it doesn’t feel large, with intimate spaces and a versatile style that appeals to everyone.
